What is true about the x-coordinate of any point that lies in the y-axis? ( in 6th grace common core math)
pick any 3 points on the y axis and see what they have in common.
Why not draw the x- and y-coordinates? Then again try to figure out what x-coordinate every point on the y-axis has.
oooookay… bit i still don't really get it I'm not asking for the answer i just need more help…
:(
The x-coordinate of a point measures the horizontal distance from the origin. The y-coordinate of a point measures the vertical distance from the origin. If the point is ON the y-axis, then what is the HORIZONTAL DISTANCE of the point from the origin?
Lets pick three random points on the y-axis|dw:1396230681913:dw| What do all these points have in common?
