Well, the perimeter is all of the sides added up, right? So what could you write that would represent all of the sides combined??

i already failed it. but i just wanted to see what i got wrong. my answer was (2x^2)2

What about 2x(2)+x(2)? There are 2 2x's and 2 x's, right? So 2x(2) and x(2). To find the perimeter, you have to add all of the sides up.
