14. What is the slope and y-intercept of the following equation: y = -4x + 2 (1 point) m = 2, b = -4 m = -2, b = 4 m = -4, b = 2 m = -4, b = -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given the slope-intercept equation: \[y = mx + b\] m = slope, b = y intercept Can you work it out from here on?

OpenStudy (help_needed_cudi):

so would it be like this -4x= mx and 2 = b now we would add them together?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, m = -4 and b = 2

OpenStudy (help_needed_cudi):

ya i put that thats soo much easier than how they make it seem n my book thanks
