I'm just going to go on a hunch and say something is wrong with the equation you wrote :P
OpenStudy (jlg030597):
I think so to
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ughh typo Y=-2/3x + 400
OpenStudy (jlg030597):
ok then you have to graph it?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no i just have to describe how i would

It looks like a slope form type problem
OpenStudy (anonymous):
?
OpenStudy (jlg030597):
slope you know \[rise/run \]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i just have to explain how i would graph it
OpenStudy (jlg030597):
I think it means that with the -2/3x you are to go over to -2 and then up to positive 3 now the 400 im lost with that

I think but I could be wrong Algebra 1 was almost two years ago for me now so its hard to remember
OpenStudy (jlg030597):
@johnweldon1993 do you have any ideas
OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):
So what you do...is you go to 400 on the y-axis (400 resembles the y-intercept) and FROM THERE you go 2 down...and 3 over to the right since this is negative slope...
