OpenStudy (marsxtc):

Rotate the space bounded by y=-x^2+1, and y =0 around the line x =- 2

OpenStudy (marsxtc):

I tried to get it in terms of x, so I made it -sqrt(y+1). Since i'm trying to rotate it over x=-2, I thought maybe I would set both y's to each other so -x^2+1=0, getting that x = +/- 1

OpenStudy (marsxtc):

Going from here, I don't know what my intervals should be. I know it's not disk method because its not bounded to x=-2, so i'm unsure of whats my R(x) and r(x)...
