For millions of years, the Mississippi River has flooded its banks in the spring due to northern snows melting and sending a surge of fresh water downstream. Some Memphis city planners have proposed the construction of levees (large earth and concrete dams) on the east bank of the river separating the river from the city and ideally keeping the river from flooding. Which negative ecological event might come from the building of these levees? The town of Bartlett might face devastating floods. The town of Crittenden might face devastating floods. Residents of Memphis might run out of drinking water. Memphis might face a drought.

It's between A and B. The problem is, I don't know the town of Bartlett and Crittenden :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because basically, the dam is just separating the water from the city.

I don't think droughts and running out of drinking water would be a concern.

the towns on the map on my school work are verry far from the river ... so idk what to put thanks for the help !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aw, I wish there was a way to see the map, but it's fine.

I just made sure I narrow down the possible choices.
