OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

What does this question have to do with mathematics?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

You may find the answers if you read about ER here: http://www.firstladies.org/biographies/firstladies.aspx?biography=33

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

@whpalmer4 it's not posted in mathematics. @dsnkjnkj i'll research give me a few secs

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Interesting that it was surrounded by math problems when I looked at it, but now it isn't. Do not do the poster's homework for them!

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Lol it happens to me at times too. and who said i'm doing his/her homework?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well this is open study you ask questions they help you @whpalmer4 why do you have an account than

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

@dsnkjnkj I suggest you read the Code of Conduct at http://www.openstudy.com/code-of-conduct which you agreed to obey when you signed up for an account.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

I have given you help — I pointed you at a specific web page you can read and find the answers yourself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but everyone does this on here if not we can all ways go to diffferent site its not a big of a deal why does it matter to you its not about you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so lets come down and go on about our own business the code of conduct also says Be nice so lets be nice okay okay @whpalmer4

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

In the time you've been trying to convince me, you could have read the page, found the answers, and maybe even learned something in the process.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you please stop and mind your own business please and thank you. Because the code of conduct states Insulting, berating, or otherwise discouraging others.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer4

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

I will continue to discourage people from posting answers that you should be finding on your own. Sorry if this makes you unhappy. If you're looking for a site where people freely trade or share answers, OpenStudy isn't the site for you, but there are others.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

uhh i just notice you guys are arguing lol @dsnkjnkj whalmer is not saying anything wrong. Stuff like history you could simply research it and find the answer. I'm researching right now and you could be doing the same. He gave you reference which will really help and also that way you will learn something new.. I understand that getting help on here is different than searching. Even I when i need help in history I understand it better when someone explains it to me than give me a link, but I just hope that it's not just the answer you're looking for.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

And @whpalmer4 I think you misunderstood me. I'm not posting answers. I find the answers, Explain why it's the right answer and why it's wrong. I know you posted a link, but he could have just searched himself for that link. He posted this becuase he wants someone to explain since sometimes people helping you is much easier. Not everyone likes to research. This is unlike math, you can't just explain step by step.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Since there's more than one answers to history when math has only one answer in the end.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

everyone is free to say what ever the want. sorry if you felt i was arguing @whpalmer4 @timaashorty i just want everyone get along even know your strangers lol jk. But i just wanted to say that @timaashorty was helping me not telling me the answers. @whpalmer4 i felt that you were going agenst the conduct also when you made some statements but its water under the brigdes. Sorry if that makes you feel unhappy also but it is what it is. We dont have to be friends we can just leave each other alone if that is whta you want. Okay well i gtg but Thank you! " the code of conduct states Insulting, berating, or otherwise discouraging others." And its not my fault if people tells me the answer not saying any one does >_-

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Learning how to read and research is an essential skill, not optional. Assignments requiring reading are given in part to force development of that skill.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

@dsnkjnkj Os is messing up for me now. I'm getting tagged for like the fourtieth time. and Later, I'll try to finish helping you Althought this what I found so far. Take your choices answers choices and think how they changed the traditional role of the first lady. Look for the first roles of the first lady and compare them to the following choices of what Ealoner did. She held press conferences. For example about the first answer choice. Press Conferences: On 6 March 1933, two days after becoming First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt held what was to become the first of 348 press conferences, with nearly 35 women in attendance. The idea emerged from her burgeoning friendship with Associated Press reporter Lorena Hickok as a direct measure to help women reporters keep their jobs during the depression. She conducted them to help keep the American people informed of her White House life and the political activities of the Administration, but to provoke national consciousness about larger issues and crises of the day, and to do so in newspaper print. The press conferences afforded her the chance to focus on breaking news whether it was the threat that Hitler presented to Europe or the endemic problems of Washington, D.C.’s social welfare institutions. Did that affect the roles of the First Lady?
