Idk if you are still checking, but the question is asking for variables such that when one increases, the other decreases. The easiest way to see this is to check the sign of the coefficient comparing the variables in question (when everything is simplified), and seeing if they are the same or different. The only answer in which they are different is A. If you test this, y increases cause x to decrease into more negative numbers. This is a negative correlation.
