Which sentence does not contain misplaced or dangling modifiers? A. The coast guard could not find the boat sunk at sea with three people aboard. B. Sunk at sea with three people aboard, the coast guard could not find the boat. C. The coast guard, sunk at sea with three people aboard, could not find the boat. D. Sunk at sea, the coast guard could not find the boat with three people aboard.
@Jack1
c seems ...weirdly written, but i have no idea what a modifier is mate, sorry, standby and I'll look it up
believe it's C @Please__help____me!!! as "sunk at sea with three people aboard" doesn't tell you what/who was sunk at sea, and from the other sentences we know it wasn't the coast guard who were, so it's "dangling"
thanks
