Help! For every 6 boxes sold, Stephanie makes a profit of $8.10. Which table shows this same rate of change? A Number of Boxes Profit 15 $20.25 17 $22.95 19 $25.65 21 $28.35 B Number of Boxes Profit 8 $10.80 10 $12.15 12 $13.50 14 $14.85 C Number of Boxes Profit 15 $13.25 17 $18.95 19 $21.65 21 $24.35 D Number of Boxes Profit 8 $14.85 10 $16.20 12 $17.55 14 $18.90 A) A B) B C) C D) D
a or c, but im leaning towards a
8.10 divided by 6 = 1.35 so it's B
10.80 -12.15 =1.35 13.50 - 14.85 =1.35
its not b, because the value for 8 sold is obviously 8.10 b claims the value for that is 10.80
1.35 profit is made each box
Hey mathbrain99 why did you say it was either a or c?
he forgot to find the profit for 1 box
becuase those are the only two that dont contradict the problem
thats not neccasary to rule out b and d
im wrong it goes up by 2 so correct awsner is A
2.70 profit is the table
yeah, I thought so too.
i did'nt see it was going up by 2
ok . . . um well I can say this A's profit is 2.70, B's profit is 1.35, C's [rofit is 2.70 but along the way it doesnt come out the same and D's profit is 1.35. And B and D are the same so yeah . . .
Thank you both.
A because you do 15 divided by 6 and get 2.5 then you multiply 8.1 and 2.5 to get you 20.25 for 15 boxes which is represented in A
