What is responsible for different traits in a species? Chromosomes and RNA Parents Genes and Alleles
Well, I guess the very root cause is the DNA, but traits is a very broad term that may include behaviors and other extra-genetic factors.
@mrdoldum but youdidn't help anwser the question

What is responsible for different traits in a species? Chromosomes and RNA Parents Genes and Alleles
I thought the answer would be self evident, it is genes and alleles. Parents donate genetic material, chromosomes have genes on them, genes are that coding for the same thing but only slightly different (example: blonde hair vs. black hair) are alleles, and RNA is derived from DNA.
True,
What is the probability that a child born from these parents will have a heterozygous genotype? 25% or 1/4 75% or 3/4 0% or 0/4 50% or 2/4
Cannot answer without genotypes of parents.

So its C
i think C because 0% is = to: Cannot answer without genotypes of parents.
No. Okay, let's do it all: Two homozygous parents: offspring all of the same homozygous nature of parents. One homoz. one hetero: 50% hetero 50% homo two hetero: 25% homo 50% hetero 25% homo (the different homozygous are usually dominant./repressive genes in examples)
I'm goinna pick D and Where are your genes found? On Cell Membrane In the laundry basket On Alleles On Ribosomes
Um, well none of those answers are correct. Alleles are just different versions of the same gene. Genes are found at loci (singular locus) on chromosomes. Unfortunately, I have to run now, I hope I was helpful.
Thanks
