The label on a 2-liter bottle of soda indicates that one serving is 8 fluid ounces and that there are 8 servings in the bottle. Are these exact measurements? Explain, using mathematics to justify your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one liter = 33.81 ounces No the measurements are not exact. because one litter i 33.81 ounces. if you multiple 33.81*2 you get 67.62 ounces. and on the bottle it says that every serving you get 8fl ounces. if you multiple the number of ounces* number of servings you get 64 fl which meands that you have about 3.62 ounces left over.
