help
im drawing my question
|dw:1397598991779:dw|
formula for a circle using the diameter is \(A=\frac{\pi}{4} \times diameter^2\)
or if you only know the formula for the are using the radius, you can use this method 1. find the radius: diameter/2 2. then substitute the radius here \(A=\pi r^2\)
i looked on google and it says 48 but thats not a choice
because it is not right :) try doing it yourself and i'll check if your method is right
48 cannot be answer because pi is 3.14 and will give you some decimal places.
I have no idea how to do this
hmm.. do you know what a diameter of a circle is?
area = (pi/4)(diameter squared) area = (3.14/4) x (24 x 24) do division and multiplication to get the answer
Here it is @bbcream14 ...Again thankx even if you dont get it lol:))
welcome and on area you have to times it
i don't get it still my teacher don't tech me this all the time but she wants me to do a test on it
Please see my answer above. The area is proportional to the square of the diameter.
i got c cause i did 24*3.14= 75.36 cm
OMG i am a pro at this
is it C or am i wrong
@Arielsweetlove01 are you still here
It is C.
thats what I got
yeahhhh
yeah let me know if its right
do you know the answer for sure
No. It is B. Approximate it with a square of sides = 24 cm which has an area of 24 x 24 = 576 cm, to give you a quick first estimate.
well try douglous answer
but I did pie r square
