Which of the following actions is best understood using Einstein's concepts rather than Newtonian physics? A. The flight of an arrow shot from a bow B. The rebound of a basketball from a backboard C. The chemical breakdown of an explosive D. The radioactive decay of an atom
I can eliminate two... And I'd think one is more likely but I can say for sure. Have you eliminated any?
C is the answer because Einstein's theory of relativity gave a lot towards radioactivity, with fission and fusion being one of the topics.
@ChrisTopher987654321 You said "C" and then mentioned radioactivity! But also fission and fusion. But it's C?
actually it's D
Thanks, @larquitta1995! I would have eliminated A and B, and put my money on D if I gambled. Chemical breakdown is a lot of physics, but I know that radiation deals with electromagnetic waves. Very importantly, energy of photons and such. Einstein also worked on other atomic theory. But I would guess radiation. Einstein probably did much in both, though.
