the earths inner core doesnt melt becous it is cold but becouse there is so much preassure around it that it litterally can't melt at all becouse the mollucules are being kept together and they need to move freely to be a liquid at all

even though temperature in the inner core is very high, the pressure compacts the material in the inner core causing it to stay solid.
