What is immunity? What role do memory cells play in immunity?
@bealtesandbroadway
Memory cells help by remembering how to kill an infection the next time it invades your body. Each virus is different and therefor must be killed differently. Some can be killed on the surface. Others must be killed through mucus or fever. The memory cells keep like a recording to remember each virus or bacteria individually and how to kill it that way the next time it invades it can kill it faster before it can damage cells. Your immunity is you little army to protect your body. When you feel a little tired and sneeze a few times that could mean it is a virus your body has fought before and knows how to eliminate. If you get a lot of coughing,sneezing,mucus,and a fever it could mean that it is a new virus or your immune system is slightly weaker at the moment.
