first of all, this isnt the MATH section. but ill help u anyways. 2nd of all, do you know the quadratic formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so the quadratic formula is \[x=[-b \pm \sqrt{b ^{2}-4ac} ]\ \div 2a\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you have to convert your equation: 2y2 – 5y = –2 to slope-intercept form.: y=mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or instead of the slope-intercept form, you can put it in Standard form: Ax+By=C
