The thing you have to do to get your answer is to combine your exponents. To combine you exponents you have to add them. If you are adding a negative exponent to a positive exponent, you have to subtract them and take the negative or positive sign of the larger number and put it on your answer... Just remember that.
So let's begin... (3x^2)(3x^-6)(-3x^-2) = First you have to add the exponents starting from the left and ending at the right.. 2 + -6 = -4 Now you add the next exponent... -4 + -2 = -6
Now you take the man number and variable, which is 3x, and add the exponent -6 on it, so now it should look like this: \[3x ^{-6}\] Which is your answer
