trig?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

trig has to do with properties of circles aligning ratios and angles .... confidence intervals are a part of statistics

OpenStudy (amistre64):

odd lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol I know

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im not sure i understand the question as is tho. i know confidence intervals and such but have no clear idea how it applies here.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

spose you have 14 people take the study and want to be 95% confident that the results conform to the larger population ... there are z formulas that adjust for the sample size to determine of the mean from the sample has a k% chance of being a good approximation for the population mean

OpenStudy (amistre64):

assume the sample data conforms to the population data and run the functions .... a student t distribution sounds familiar

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the survey should have been presented such that it helped to determine a specific question. the mean of the survey is therefore the parameter to use. If each question was meant to address a specific issue, then you pretty much did a survey of seperate surveys

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck

@peacemakerxx: While it's kind of amistre64 to post a sample problem of his own making after trying to figure out what you meant by " . ", I'd still suggest that YOU share here the homework problem you want ti discuss. type it in, or draw it in the Draw utility (below), or use Equation Editor.
