OpenStudy (acxbox22):

substitute 9 in and solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3+\sqrt{x+7} - \sqrt{3x} = 3+\sqrt{16} - \sqrt{27}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats as far as i got

OpenStudy (anonymous):

am i supposed to add 16 and 3 ?

@acxbox22

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

good now simplify the square root of 16 and use a calculator to approximate the square root of 27 then solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

16=4 if u simplify it all the way it will be 2 and the square root of 27 will be \[3\sqrt{3}\]

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

so it will be \[7-\sqrt{27}\] \[7-5.2\approx1.8\]
