OpenStudy (acxbox22):

Can someone help me on how to multiply radicals?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

\[3\sqrt{6}\times3\sqrt{6}\]

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well it becomes \[3 \times 3 \times \sqrt{6} \times sart{6} = 3 \times 3 \times \sqrt{6 \times 6}\]

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

so it is 54 right?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

thats correct

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

to simplify\[\frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{6} }\] you multiply by the square root of 6 over the squareroot of 6 and i got\[\frac{ 2\sqrt{3} }{ 6 }\] can you simplify further?

OpenStudy (acxbox22):

@campbell_st

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

OpenStudy (acxbox22):
