Titan is one of the moons of Saturn. It has a thick atmosphere rich in organic compounds. The following image shows a lake and channels on the surface of Titan. https://app151.studyisland.com/pics/161801Titan.jpg Titan is one of the coldest places in the solar system. Its lakes are probably made of methane, the main ingredient in natural gas, which is a liquid at low temperatures. Unexpected chemical reactions taking place on Titan have led some scientists to hypothesize that life may have evolved there. How would finding life on Titan change scientific ideas about what conditions are necessary to support life? A. It would prove that nutrients are not necessary for life. B. It would prove that liquid water is not necessary for life. C. It would prove that a source of energy is not necessary for life. D. all of the above

Not good at this sorry

OpenStudy (itsbribro):

ok do u know anyone who would probably know this?

OpenStudy (therealmeeeee):

TBH nope

A. can be discarded since there are nutrients present ("atmosphere rich in organic compounds") B. is there liquid water? It says that there are lakes and channels, but are they liquid? >if they're not, then this is the correct option C. Energy is present everywhere, (even if it's really cold), i'm sure (well, not entirely, I'm speculating) light from sun still reaches it.
