Do you have an example? In general, the area of a sector is just a fraction of the circle's area. If you know the measure of the central angle for that sector, it is: \( A = \dfrac{x^o}{360^o} \color{blue}{\pi r^2} \) That blue part is the circle area formula, and x/360 is the percentage of the circle made up by a sector.
