more derivatives c: @Tirayrm
Find the derivative of f(x) = 6 divided by x at x = -2.
i believe this one would be-3/2 wouldnt it?
no...
Seriously, listen to me. You need to learn about limits before you learn about derivatives. It will be extremely difficult to learn about derivatives first. I strongly suggest that you learn calculus in the correct order... If you're interested, the derivative is -6x^(-2)
so then the derivitive is -6
but like my book says to go the opposite way like my lessons are 9.01: introduction to the derivitive and then 9.02: techniques for evaluating limits. so which should i do?
That's strange... I'm positive that you should learn limits first.
First you learn limits. Then there is a way to find derivatives using limits.
Then u'll learn a new notation for finding derivatives
Most books (as far as I know) teach limits first, because limits allow you to understand graphically and visually what calculus is.
i hate pre calc :c this is annoying
