I would say C, since a magazine is a whole piece of work, rather then just a certain page or section of the magazine. Because of this, Italicizing 'Sports Illustrated' would be appropriate. Hope this helped!

Parts of a whole are often in quotation marks while whole pieces are in italics. Some examples of parts in a whole include songs, poems, and speeches while some examples of whole pieces include books, magazines, and musical productions.
