OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried to solve it but I'm just so confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just add the 4 + 3 + 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did that help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14 isn't one of the options :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

forty-two square meters forty-five square meters ninety-six square meters one hundred seventeen square meters Them, are the options.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait I'm gonna see the picture again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got ninety six

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait one moment please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. Thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just really need the formula because my state test is coming up, lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I'm taking tcap part 2 tomorrow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mine is this Monday. Meh.. :c

OpenStudy (radar):

It is a figure (not a solid) Calculate the area of the triangle and add to that the area of the rectangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 x 3 x 7 then you multiply 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

radar is that right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry gotta go i didn't the answer i apologize

OpenStudy (radar):

Do the triangle using area A= 1/2 base * height The base is 3 and the height is 4 so that would be A= (1/2)(4)(3)=2*3=6 now the rectangle is 7 times 5 or 35 total surfgace area is 6 + 35 = 41 sq meter. I don't see that as an option.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's fine. Thank you for helping! Have a nice day

OpenStudy (radar):

Check your options for 41 sq meters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The lowest option I see is 42.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you found the answer

OpenStudy (radar):

If not then the 42 sq meters is the "best" answer. Unless there is more to the figure than what is shown.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. Thank you!

OpenStudy (radar):

You're welcome and good luck with your studies.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much!! Have an awesome day!
