simple x+3 = 2x
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
but what will you do to get that? one side of your problem is log, but the other is not.
So I am just using a commpon approach of putting in the magic one, as log(base x) x.
See what I am doing ?

okay so i get e^3x=5 then what
OpenStudy (anonymous):
take ln fr both sides
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so what would itlook like
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[\ln(e^{3x})= \ln 5\]
\[3x \ln e = \ln 5\]
ln e = 1
so 3x = ln 5 solve for x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
can u please solve
