OpenStudy (phebe):

Which set of lenghths could be the side lengths of a right triangle? A-20cm,22cm,29cm B-10ft,12ft,15ft C-7km,24km,28km D-13in,84in,85in

OpenStudy (phebe):

@mjoxprm360

OpenStudy (mrnood):

You now KNOW the formula find the longest side - the hypotenuse c square all three sides a^2, b^2, c^2 if a squared plus b squared is EQUAL to c squared then it IS a right angled triangle If they are NOT equal then it is NOT a right angled triangle

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well you well need to test pythagoras' theorem

OpenStudy (phebe):

so wats the answer for it

OpenStudy (mrnood):

Please try it yourself - Pythagoras triangles are key to many other aspects of geometry which you will need for future work...

OpenStudy (paki):

use phytagoras theorem...

OpenStudy (mrnood):

If anyone posts the answer I will report it

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@Phebe The method is clear above - just try it Post your work if you feel like trying

OpenStudy (paki):

agree with MrNood point...
