co terminal angles

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

Find the measures of two angles, one positive and one negative, that are coterminal with the given angle. 202° how do i even begin to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

coterminal angles are angles that share the same terminal, or end, side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example, if u have a 60 degrees angle, it wud look like this |dw:1399162106199:dw|

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

yes and the other side would be 30 to equal a right angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, you have to start from 0 degrees, so the x - axis

OpenStudy (lovelyharmonics):

but i dont understand whats happening because the answer choices im given that are positive are above 202 and the ones that are negative are.... well... negative .-.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a negative angle is the same as a positive but instead of going up, it goes down, so -60 degrees would just be like this, |dw:1399162307666:dw|
