A quadratic equation is shown below: 3x^2 - 16x + 2 = 0 Part A: Describe the solution(s) to the equation by just determining the discriminant. Show your work. Part B: Solve 9x^2 + 3x - 2 = 0 by using an appropriate method. Show the steps of your work and explain why you chose the method used. Part C: Solve 3x^2 - 10x + 2 = 0 by using a method different from the one you used in Part B. Show the steps of your work.

If I loose connection, I'm really sorry about that. Openstudy is being really weird on me.

OpenStudy (sw050399):

Discriminant is what's under the square root in the quadratic formula. If I remember right, if it's a perfect square it means it has 2 solutions, if it's irrational, it has one solution, and if it's negative it doesn't have any solutions (you can't take a square root of a negative number). As for the others, you could either factor or use the quadratic formula. I hope I helped! :)

Thank you!!

@sw050399 Do you mind helping me with c? I forgot how to factor.
