y=x^3+x+1 solve for y y=0

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

the y or x intercept(s) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y

OpenStudy (freckles):

why do you have y=0 on the side there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i have on my worksheet

OpenStudy (mathmale):

@awachter : Please start over. Include the instructions that came with this problem. What you have already posted is too ambiguous.

OpenStudy (freckles):

"solve for y y=0" this is what it says? if this is true, then you have already solved for y when y=0 maybe you mean to solve for x when y=0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here are some graphing problems use the table of value approach include an x=0(find y) y=0(find x) and 3 other pairs. y=x^3+x+1

OpenStudy (mathmale):

That's SO much clearer than before. Thanks. You are to set up a table of x and y values. Your table must show the y value when x = 0 and the x-value when y = 0, and you are to pick 3 other x-values (arbitrarily) and find y for each of them. To get you started:|dw:1399247342719:dw|
