What are the minimum, first quartile, third quartile and maximum of the data set? 12,6,8,3,10,15,18,7

Do you have a graphing calc? If so, go to stat->edit->enter the numbers for L1->stat->calc->1-var stats->enter->enter->calculate->stat plot->1->on->go down until you reach the box and whiskers plot->continue entering->graph->zoom 9. I probably missed a direction... |dw:1399249679959:dw| Then trace. Farthest to the right: lower extreme. Left line of box part: lower quartile. Middle line: median. Right line of box part: upper quartile. Far right dot: upper extreme.

*Farthest to the left: lower extreme

OpenStudy (pgxgirl103):

I do not have one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dx Oh well. I'll explain the paper way too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give me a sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Line them up in numerical order. Lowest number is your minimum. Highest is your maximum. The middle number is the median.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then for the quartiles...one sec
