Noob question, sorry. How do I antidifferentiate sqrt such as sqrt7 dx?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know the power rule? If you change the sqrt(7) into 7^(1/2) you might be able to solve it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\sqrt7\) is a number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int cdx=cx\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ha I just noticed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So sqrt 7x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you meant to put a 7 then satellite is right. For variables you can use the power rule.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can check your answer by taking the derivative of it.

ah ok thanks
