last English question i promise!

mathslover (mathslover):

Hello quinmiley, Regarding your question : In order to avoid confusion, you need to check which two parts of the sentence don't match with each other. In my opinion, till "again" - the sentence talked about "Kite" while after it - I guess, sentence didn't talk about Kite any more. So, I guess, the semicolon should be put after again. I hope it helped. Also, your question will better suit in English group. Please close this question soon and post your future problems of English there. Good Luck!

Please read the question again. If you would read it you would see that it is: B BEFORE: The kite, which was supposed to be easy to fly, crashed again and again, and everyone got tired, hot, and grumpy. After: The kite, which was supposed to be easy to fly, crashed again and again; and everyone got tired, hot, and grumpy. The semicolon separates the two things. It is there otherwise the kite would be tired, hot, and grumpy and the people.
