@charliealbert Thanks

OpenStudy (staceyg):

@geerky42 I will.

You're welcome

OpenStudy (staceyg):

How would the graph for the following equation look like?

OpenStudy (staceyg):

-5/8x - 1/3y = 1/8

OpenStudy (staceyg):

@charliealbert

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not that great at graphing but you would estimate about what 5/8 and 1/3 is on the graph and plot your points for the x and y axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=(\frac{ 1 }{ 8 }+\frac{ 5 }{ 8 }x)3\] \[y=(\frac{ 5x+1 }{ 8 })3\] \[y=\frac{ 15x+3 }{ 8 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's minus: \[y=-\frac{ 15x+3 }{ 8 }\]

OpenStudy (staceyg):

So would it look like this?|dw:1399525598913:dw|

OpenStudy (staceyg):

@charliealbert

OpenStudy (staceyg):

@geerky42

Yes, you are correct
