How do I writ an equation for a vertical and horizontal line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The slope/y-intercept form of a line is \[y=mx+b\]. Knowing that for a horizontal line the slope is zero we substitute m=0 thus:\[y=0x+b\] giving \[y=b\] where\[y \in \mathbb{R} \] The process for vertical proceeds similarly but with an undefined slope.
