OpenStudy (tkhunny):

\(\dfrac{5}{11} = \dfrac{??}{33}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15 feet?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Why the question mark? is it 15 ft or not? Does the proportion work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it came out to 1 over 15

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

"It". Who is "It". Please show your work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cross multiplied to get 1/15

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

"cross multiply" doesn't mean anything. Did you somehow solve for "??"? If you did, then you are done. ?? = 15. End of story.

what is wrong with you quit being so snippy

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I'm not being snippy. I'm asking questions and encouraging you to to do the work and the thinking. I realize sometimes this is translated as "snippy". Just answer the questions. That's all that is suggested.
