Graph the inequality two times f is greater than four. A number line labeled in increments of one from two through twelve. An open dot is placed at two and an arrow extends from that point to the right. A number line labeled in increments of one from two through twelve. A closed dot is placed at two and an arrow extends from that point to the right. A number line labeled in increments of one from two through twelve. An open dot is placed at eight and an arrow extends from that point to the right. A number line labeled in increments of one from two through twelve. A closed dot is p

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

inequality two times f is greater than four means 2f > 4 divide both sides by 2, what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well 2 divided by 2 = 1 and 4 divided by 2 = 2 so f and 2? or f>2.....

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Yes, and that means f is greater than 2. Greater than sign means an open circle. If f is greater than 2, which way would the arrow go on the line below? -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right ---->

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

*thumbs up*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would it be the first one,,, the answer

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Yeah. Those are pretty confusingly written answers. Yay for making math harder than it needs to be.
