you know how to "complete the square" since you are given choices, we can probably do it without much work at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not really my teacher never showed me how :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2+4x+y^2+4y=-4\] lets knock this out quick what is half of 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k since the coeffients are both 4 we can do it in one step complete the square on both term by writing \[(x+2)^2+(y+2)^2=-4+2^2+2^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and as always, the answer is C, as it is \[(x+2)^2+(y+2)^2=4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that problem is easy i looked at it for 20 seconds and the answer is c

OpenStudy (anonymous):
