sorry how do you get that @Light&Happiness

geerky42 (geerky42):

do you mean \(\sqrt[3]{-8x}\) or \(\sqrt[3]{-8} \cdot x\)?

geerky42 (geerky42):

first one right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first one

geerky42 (geerky42):

well then Light isn't really correct, it should be \(-2\sqrt[3]{x}\) because \(\sqrt[3]{-8x} = \sqrt[3]{(-2)^3} \cdot \sqrt[3]{x} = \boxed{-2\sqrt[3]{x}}\)

geerky42 (geerky42):

\(-2\cdot-2\cdot-2 = -8\)
