Suppose f(x) = abx is an exponential GROWTH function. Which function, then, represents exponential DECAY?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you mean \(f(x)=ab^x\), or maybe \(\large f(x)=a^{bx}\). In either case, putting a minus sign on the exponent will change it to decay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, f(x) = a b^-x = a (1/b)^x is for decay
