How to represent degree
Degree in latex?
How ?
\(10^{\circ}\)
`\(10^{\circ}\)`
\[x^{o}\]
I am not getting how to do it : I did x to the power 0
Try to do it : x to the power of ( \circ )

How to do it with latex
Or simply `x^o` The letter o works nicely also :)
Oh i guess the circle looks a little classier ^^ heh
\(x^o\) - `\(x^o\)` \(x^{\circ}\) - `\(x^{\circ}\)`
How to do it with Buttons ?
Not possible with buttons @goformit100
:'( okay
Question is Express \[45^020'10''\] in centesimal measures.
@mathslover
Okay, so , for this question we have 45 degrees, 20 minutes and 10 seconds
there is probably a way to do this on a calculator but lets work it out by hand real quick lets start with the 10'' that is saying 10 seconds i want to convert that to minutes
so there are 60secs in 1 min. 60" = 1
so how would you convert 10'' into minutes then? any idea?
1' = 60''
we know 60'' = 1' and i want the left hand side there so be 10 '' because i want to know how many minutes 10 seconds equals to get the 60 to look like a 10, i would divide by 6 if i divide the left by 6, i divide the right by 6 so 10'' is about .1666666 minutes
okay after this
|dw:1399811708080:dw| so now we are here 45 degree and 20.166666 minutes before we were at 45 degrees 20 minutes 10 seconds i turned the seconds into minutes and just combined the two minute numbers (the 20 and the .166666)
