What is the Differnce? in the attachment below @Chris911 , @ganeshie8

OpenStudy (phebe):

hartnn (hartnn):

since you have a common denominator, you can combine the numerators!

OpenStudy (phebe):

yep you can XD

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\Large \dfrac{\heartsuit }{\clubsuit }+\dfrac{\spadesuit }{\clubsuit} = \dfrac{\heartsuit +\spadesuit }{\clubsuit }\)

OpenStudy (phebe):

ok so i jus fill in

hartnn (hartnn):

also like \(\Large \dfrac{A}{B}+\dfrac{C}{B} = \dfrac{A+C}{B}\) yeah, try it :)

OpenStudy (phebe):

ok but its still kinda hard

OpenStudy (phebe):

im going to post the answer choices k

hartnn (hartnn):

you just combine the numerator, keep the denominator as is! let me give a similar example \(\Large \dfrac{10x+3}{3x}-\dfrac{x+4}{3x}=\dfrac{(10x+3)-(x+4)}{3x} \) now can you try to solve ?

hartnn (hartnn):

it would really help you if you try to solve it by yourself first :)

OpenStudy (phebe):

um. thas soo long but let me try k

OpenStudy (phebe):

ok

OpenStudy (phebe):

is the answer 1

hartnn (hartnn):

yeah, how did you get it ?

OpenStudy (phebe):

i simplifyed then i found the GCF nd got an answer

hartnn (hartnn):

ok then, good work! :)

OpenStudy (phebe):

yayaya lol byeeee
