How exactly does a Meson form because mesons are a quark and an anti-quark held together by the strong force. But shouldn't the quark be obliterated by the anti-quark, or if say it was a up quark and an anti-down quark or strange quark or just one of the other flavors of quarks is that why they are not obliterated? -Austin
