fish need oxygen to breathe, too. In order to remove oxygen from the water, they rely on special organs called “gills.” Gills are feathery organs full of blood vessels.

@xxallmightyxx @ massiel928 I know this is closed, but fish do not remove oxygen from water. Fish gills and in some fish, their swim bladder, is able to capture the dissolved oxygen in the water. This is like how when you open a soda it bubbles; the pressure is not high enough to keep the carbon dioxide in the liquid and it escapes as a gas.
