OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Is this right? I need help completing a chart? (elements, electrons, atomic #, charges, etc)

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wrong, if you change the number of proton the element isn't the same, +1 means there's a lack of electrons make it 3 protons and 2 electrons

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

oooooh yeah I forgot lol so losing an electron it makes it positively charged

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

so the other one is Oxygen?

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

O and \[O^{-2}\]

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

the mass always stays the same? law of conservation of mass?

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

does that law apply to this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No no, if there is one less electron you have to substract the mass of an electron but it doesn't weight much so it might not matter and yes O2 and O2-

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

ooh ok gotcha ^_^ thanks♥

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're welcome :)
