HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

I need help with three problems

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill try, what are the problems?

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

|dw:1400262065463:dw| What is the solution for x in the proportion ? Describe your steps.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find x you would have to cross multiply and divide,\[14\times63\div18\] that should work for any problem like that

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

so the x = 49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

ok i got two more

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

Using complete sentences, explain the two ways to simplify √180 and provide the simplified form.

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

Armor beck do you know how to solve that problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im fairly certain. basically you need to find a factor of it that is a perfect square 5x36=180 is on so you could do \[5\sqrt{36}\]

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

so i could you 5√36, is that simplified?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that is simplified, the perfect squares are 1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100.... so if you find another that factors evenly with 180 there is your second one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my bad it would be \[6\sqrt{5}\] sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{180}=\sqrt{36}\times \sqrt{5} \] and because \[\sqrt{36}=6 \] it is \[6\times \sqrt{5}\]

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

ok thank you i have one more question

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

What is the exact value of the expression 5 √5 + 3 √20 - 6√3 ? Show your work.
