I could use some help :) What polynomial has roots of -1, -2, and 3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Jesstho.-.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wouldnt it be one that touches the x axis 3 times?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you want me to explain or just the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm in a hurry so it'd be awesome if you could just give me the answer :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+1)(x+2)(x-3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A is the root of the polynomial if (x-a) divides the polynomial

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if the root of the polynomials are a,b,c then the polynomial is (x-a)(x-b)(x-c)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. x^3+6x^2+11x+6 b. x^3-x^2-5x+2 c. x^3+2x^2-7x+2 d.x^3-7x-6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I should have given you the choices, lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol it's fine. It's D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Should I explain how I got D? Or No

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah. thank you so much xD

You're welcome
