What method should i use to solve this↓?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2+y^2=64\] and\[x^2+64y^2=64\]

hartnn (hartnn):

isolate x^2 from 1st equation and plug it in the second equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y^2=64-x^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops you said isolate x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2=64-y\]

hartnn (hartnn):

x^2+y^2 = 64, right ? so x^2 = 64 - y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah sorry i can not type today...

hartnn (hartnn):

no problem, now plug that in 2nd equation 64 - y^2 + 64y^2 = 64 can you find y from here ?
