I'm not looking for an answer, but only an explanation on how to do this problem. http://prntscr.com/3ks2iu

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug the point into the equation

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

plug in each value of the given points and see which fit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It means which one of these points are on the graph, this is what is the questions asking.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've plugged in each one, but none of them fit correctly. What am I doing wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Macks maybe you did a typo error while plugging in the numbers. Try using an online calculator. Like wolframalpha.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

re check B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is B. By thinking about it if you cube a positive number then times it by a negative one you should get a negative output. You can use this methadology for the process of elimination.

I didn't realize I was multiplying the 2 with the exponents, thanks, I got it now.
